Billiards Boutique Top 20 Visitor Countries in 2015

Billiards Boutique Top Visitor Countries in 2015

This blog post follow on from our recent Bumper Year at Billiards Boutique and is the first in a series of posts about the stats and facts that made up Billiards Boutique in 2015.

Snooker is a global sport, and although we sell products for all Cue Sports the largest percentage of the products we sell are for snooker. From this it is interesting to see our Top 20 Visitor Countries from 2015, they are all marked in the map above and are listed below.

One of the most interesting facts (maybe...) is that China does not feature in the top 20. China is a vast Country with a huge population of snooker players as well as three main tour professional ranking events so it is perhaps surprising that China does not feature in the Top 20. It actually came in 50th.

There are of course a plethora of reasons as to why China would not appear in our top 20, the language, search engines, local cue makers and retailers to name three, but to me it is still interesting.

If would be somewhat naive to suggest that this map shows the tp 20 snooker playing Countries in the world but it is a nice tool all the same - especially for us!

  1. United Kingdom (we are a UK brand so no surprises really!) 64% of our total traffic
  2. United States (the majority of this traffic is actually seeking American style pool products)
  3. Australia
  4. India
  5. Canada
  6. Ireland
  7. France
  8. Germany
  9. Belgium
  10. Pakistan
  11. Singapore
  12. Italy (there is a smattering of snooker starting to grow in Italy)
  13. Spain
  14. Brazil
  15. Hong Kong
  16. Malaysia
  17. Finland
  18. Portugal
  19. Netherlands
  20. New Zealand

For me there are no real surprises but then I have been doing this for 10 years, being so close to Ireland it does surprise me a little to see that they are not a bit higher up. Remember this data is pulled from Google Analytics and is based on User Sessions.
