Billiards Boutique was founded by myself (that's me on the left) way back in 2005 as an almost natural progression of another Billiard business. I would love to say that I also came up with the business name but that is simply not true and I am just a terrible liar.
The name in fact came from my much better looking and far more creative wife Angela (not pictured as she says she is shy).
The original Billiards Boutique opened up in what was probably the worlds smallest shop (although this has never been verified by the Guinness book of records) in Weymouth, it was that small shop and the fact that I sold Billiards equipment that coined the name, and even though the business has grown over the last 10 years I still see it as my duty to maintain that small specialist shop feel.
The fact that I have kept the business small is actually an advantage to you our customers, it means you deal with a very small team (there are only 3 of us) and can be confident that any order will be dealt with promptly, in fact the vast majority of orders are dispatched the same day. The same is also true if an issue arises, it will be dealt with very quickly indeed.
It also means that as I was a pool player (never been any good mind!) that I know and understand the needs of you as a player, the products that you want to buy, and I also understand that trust is such an important element to online shopping. With that in mind I have a no BS policy and I will never try to sell you something you don't need.

Billiards Boutique now operates in a small store/office above a garage in Portland, Dorset. We have fantastic sea views but try not to let them distract us.

Rebecca joined us in October 2015 after begging us for 3 years for a job, eventually we had to give in as she was so persistent!
Originally she started out part time in our pack and dispatch area but it soon became clear we needed a full time employee. Becci has developed her skills since starting with us and is now in control of our book keeping and accounts.
In addition to the accounts Becci now also helps out with some of the website admin as well as still packing the odd parcel when we are busy.
She makes an awesome cup of coffee but her cups of tea are usually rancid!
